  46. Haven’t listened to everything yet but I have to ask, why is everyone hating on cham all I have heard so far wherever I go is it was an over hyped CD. First off, it isn’t a CD it’s a mixtape and compared to the monotonous material in which beats are just recycled over and over with DJ shouts all over them this far surpasses many mixtapes I have heard. Another thing is the thing has 37 songs you can’t expect them all to be hits. It isn’t an LP why anyone would get the hopes up and hold it to that standard is beyond me.

    First off its not hatin. Im actuallt a chamillionaire fan. I have every piece of music dude put out.Who the fuck cares if we call it a cd a mixtape or a god damn LP. You must not have heard mm1 mm2 or mm3!! Because if you have and then compared this one to those you would be dissappointed as well. To be honest I havent heard a really dope mixtaoe or Album in a minute..Maybe since Untitled, or Reks. Lax….didnt live up to the hype, Recession….Didnt Either……Raw Footage….Ditto Now MM4…….What else is there to look forward to??

  55. Thats because artists have a larger profit margin for mixtapes than Albums. Production is way cheaper for mixtapes. Your talkin he makes like 8 bucks per mixtape sold in comparison to like a doller to every album sold. Those are usually released outside of their labels distribution market.

    First off I was addressing Steve, though if you find it necessary to bring yourself into it then so be it. I have heard all four MM mixtapes and yes this one does not go nearly as hard as his others. Though hell it got put on a major hold due to the untimely passing of Pimp C as well as other junk. I also agree that all the overly hyped CD’s as of late have been pretty disappointing except a select few. The fact is though the good shit like illmatic or the infamous doesn’t sell anymore. I was extremley happy to hear when REKS finally came out with Grey Hairs and copped it as soon as I could and the shit didn’t sleep for a second. Again though look at its sales. The shit at the top of the charts is the pop rap crap and if that is what some artists have to do to get sales then I guess we are stuck with it.
